Some things in life appear in a very special way.
Only after time do we understand why they came just to us.
One such thing for me was mummy (shilajit), a natural substance known for centuries in the Himalayas as the “gold of the mountains.”
A year ago I was still in an intense personal process. It was a time of inner work, various ceremonies and journeys into the depths of my own psyche. During this period, many things in me were getting organized – my outlook on life, health and what regeneration of the body really is was changing.
One day I had an experience that at the time seemed only a symbol.
During one of the ceremonies, I was together with a person very close to me. At one point we felt as if we had risen high above the ground. Looking down, we saw mountains. At one point there was a flash – something like light reflected from gold.
We decided to “fly” there.
When we got there, we saw bags full of gold in the mountains. We took as many as we could carry and returned with them to a place I know well – the space of the Green Spirit.
In my vision, I left them in one of the quiet places of the store – by the shelf, which later began to have a completely different meaning for me.

And then the waiting began.
For a long time I wondered what the experience actually meant. I thought maybe something spectacular would happen – a sudden win, success or something that would suddenly change everything.
Nothing of the sort has happened.
Understanding came only later
It wasn’t until about a year later that I realized what “gold” might have been involved.
During this time, I worked on the 90-day recovery program for the body – from detox, to rebuilding, to supporting brain function. Throughout this process, I was missing one component. I felt that there should be one more ingredient in the middle of this puzzle to close the whole cycle.
And then something very natural happened.
I wasn’t particularly looking for mumio.
Rather, it was mumio that found me.
Then I saw how symbolic the earlier experience was.
I was contacted by a person from Nepal who offered cooperation and access to mummy – a substance known for centuries in the Himalayas as the “gold of the mountains.”
At this point, everything began to come together.
The gold I saw in the mountains was not a metal. It was something that had been formed in the Himalayan rocks for centuries – a concentrate of minerals, organic matter and time.
Mumio.
From then on, I took them very seriously. First we did quality research, and then we started to put it into practice.
Today we use mumio in our family and among loved ones.
The biggest difference can be seen when mumio comes at the right time – after the cleansing stage of the body.
Once the body is prepared, mumio becomes a natural support for regenerative processes.
Only at this stage can further elements – such as functional mushrooms or other brain-supporting substances – fully show their effects.
Then the whole process becomes complete.
That’s why today I look at mumio in just this way.
Not as another supplement.
But as something that has long been aptly named in the Himalayas:
If you want to understand exactly what mumio (Shilajit) is and why its quality can vary so much, I describe it more specifically later in this article.

What Mumio (Shilajit) really is
Mumio, also known as Shilajit, has appeared in various natural medicine traditions of high mountain regions for centuries. In the Himalayas, it is often referred to as the “gold of the mountains.”
However, this is not a romantic legend, but a very specific substance that is created under unique environmental conditions.
Mumio is not a single chemical compound. It is a natural mineral-organic complex that has been formed over hundreds of years in the crevices of high mountain rocks.
In its formation participate:
- organic matter
- microorganisms
- minerals contained in rocks
- extreme climatic conditions
The result is a substance that contains both an organic fraction and a mineral fraction.
And it is this complexity that has made mumio such a source of interest for a long time.
Why Mumio’s quality varies so much
In practice, there is no single “universal” mumio.
Its composition depends on many factors:
- region of origin
- method of obtaining
- cleaning method
- as well as the form in which it is later analyzed
On the market you can find both raw mumio and various types of extracts or laboratory-isolated fractions.
Therefore, percentage declarations – especially those regarding fulvic acid content – are often difficult to compare without information about what exactly was tested.
In one case it may be a natural raw material, in another a laboratory-prepared extract.
Without this context, the numbers may look very similar, although in fact they refer to completely different materials.
Why I decided to research Mumio (Shilajit)
When mumio appeared in my work, the natural step was to check its quality.
Not because I assumed any problem in advance.
On the contrary, I was keen to base further work on facts, not declarations.
Especially since I planned to use this raw material in two different forms:
- in its natural form(RAW)
- and in more advanced technological solutions, such as liposomal systems
In this case, the quality of the raw material becomes absolutely crucial.
Therefore, instead of relying solely on reports provided by manufacturers, I decided to do independent testing in a Polish laboratory.
And that’s where the next part of the story began.
Why Mumio (Shilajit) appears at the right time
From my practice, there is one more thing.
Mumio is not a product that “does everything.”
It works best when the body is already prepared – especially after the cleansing stage.
Then his role is completely different.
It is no longer about detox, but about regeneration and reconstruction.
About restoring the balance that was previously disturbed.
Therefore, in my approach, mumio appears only after the body’s cleansing stage.
Only later can you reach for other elements – such as adaptogens or functional mushrooms.
Then the whole process begins to form a coherent whole.
Summary
Mumio is one of those substances that is difficult to understand just by looking at one ingredient or one percentage number.
Its value comes precisely from the fact that it is a natural complex that is formed over a very long time under specific environmental conditions.
Therefore, instead of looking for simple answers, it is advisable to first understand what this raw material really is and how it is created.
Only then can you consciously decide how to use it.
